Shri Sabarkantha Vishwakarma Mevada Mandal, Mumbai (SVMM) was established vide BPTR No. F8282 (B) in the Year 1968 with objectives to uplift the community members, efforts to unite community members by cultural programs and help every members who are there and who is a part of the community in the best possible way to the members living in Mumbai.
Our ancient history begins from Brahmaji, as per Vedas and Purans there are seven Rishi of Brahmaji they are called “Saptarishi”. There names are Marichi, Atri, Angira, Pulastya, Pulah, Kutu & Vashishtha. There was Brahmarishi Angira on the top among seven sons. Maharishi Angira was the founder of the Takshshila University for the training and expansion of Aryian culture.
